Test Before Buying

The purchase decision on a surfski can be a long and drawn out one for many of our customers, especially our enthusiastic beginners.  Searching brands, makes, models, volumes, lengths, characteristics, availability and price can mean that by the time you find the one, you want to know that its the right fit and testing that bad boy is the only way to do that, so there are a couple of ways that Surfski Warehouse can help.

TEST PADDLE NEW SURFSKI

Booking a test paddle is a same day service available for new products only if you are ready to purchase.  This means that you can arrange to collect a brand new surfski from our warehouse and take it for a test paddle at the beautiful and very near by, North Curl Curl beach and when you're completely satisfied with it, we'll complete the purchase and it's yours to take home.  On collection we'll get your details and credit card, and agree on the time of return same day.  Test paddles are agreed to for up to 90 minutes maximum.

TEST PADDLE A USED SURFSKI

If there is a surfski in our range that you are interested in and you would like to take it for a test paddle, we will provide the best alternative model from our rental range and agree to rent it to you for the day, or longer if needed, at standard rental rates.  As with all of our rentals this will include a life jacket, paddle and leg leash.  If transport is required for the surfski, we can assist.  Delivery and collection can be arranged for $25 each way, meaning $25 to deliver plus $25 to collect, providing your location is on the Northern Beaches between Palm Beach and Neutral Bay.  If you're based Sydney Wide, transport will start from $50 each way. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

We will always offer tips and best advice for paddling your test surfski safely, however, test paddle bookings are unassisted and do not include training services.  If you would like to arrange a training session with your test paddle, please feel free to discuss with us at the time of booking.
